Amaka means 'family'

It’s simple. We believe in the power of family and recognize each family member has a unique role to fill.  When any visitor steps foot in our ROWAN villages, they all say, “I feel at home.” It’s no accident that the base village, “Mawanga” means: A coming together of tribes and nations.
 
We want to bring this village to you. In Lusoga language, "amaka" simply means "family". We are linking the body of Christ around the world as we challenge you to become an amaka member- a family member of ROWAN- who is committed to continually donating a minimum of $5 a month. Each month you will see a new video under “Provision” on how the family money is going to be used on the ground. You can also view amaka members in the USA and in Uganda sharing current happenings and miracles.
